Who we are

A small studio, on purpose.

Porchlight Studio is a small web studio in Irvine, California. We build and look after websites for owner-run businesses: inns, venues, campgrounds and local trades.

There's no sales team and no call center. You email us, we do the work.

We're new, and we'd rather show you than tell you. That's why the preview is free.

Fair questions, plain answers.

Why is the preview free?

Because it's the easiest way to earn your trust. It's much easier to decide when you can see your own new site than to imagine one. If you don't love it, you owe nothing.

Do I need to do anything technical?

No. We handle the design, hosting, security and launch. If you'd like to add new photos or details, just email them to us.

Do I keep my domain?

Yes. Your domain stays in your name, and your words and photos stay yours. We just point your domain to the new site when you're ready.

What if I want changes?

Before launch, tell us what you'd like different and we'll update the preview. After launch, small updates are unlimited: email us a change and it's done within 2 business days.

What if I want to cancel?

Send us an email. There's no contract and no cancellation fee. You keep your domain and your content.

How did you find me?

We look for small, owner-run businesses whose website isn't doing them justice. We found yours through public listings and your current website. If you'd rather not hear from us, just reply and say so.
